Using A Silhouette To Frame Your Photo
While strolling around it is always good to look for unique photographic opportunities. After awhile when you look at your surroundings it’s almost as if you are looking through a camera’s viewfinder, or these days the LCD screen. On many an occasion you will be able to use some of your surroundings to actually frame your selected image. On this particular occasion I used the silhouette of some plants to frame this picture I took at Hamilton Island.

The FlexSqueeze Theme gives my blog that professional look. I loved it so much that I bought the developers license. It's the easiest most customizable theme I've come across. See how easy it is to change your theme's appearance! Compare it to Thesis to see how much better it is! I am so thrilled with this theme that I highly recommend you to get your FlexSqueeze theme today! Like this post? Show your appreciation by buying me a coffee.

Ha-ha cool! I like the idea and the way you used it here. If I was going to tweak it, I would burn the edges even more to really lock the framing in.
Burn the edges? Sounds cool, but you have to remember I am an amateur. I suppose you would use some sort of editing software for that?

right, sorry!
Yeah, it’s a Photoshop (or similar) term. Basically it’s a means to darken portion of your photo…quite handy @ times. NOW, if you don’t have PS, GIMP is supposed to be a good FREE alternative. You might give that a look. I bet it has a similar function :-)
Thanks mate, I thought that was what you meant but I just wanted to make sure.
