Sire // Category: I have seen many versions of close-ups of a human eye, but normally they are of an older person. I decided to take on of Luca, my five year old nephew. There was no problem getting him to pose for it, in fact I couldn’t get him to stop 
When looking at this photo you can almost see the innocence in this young face. one wonders what he will aspire to or even what dreams that he will have. It surprises me that there are people in this world that strive to take the innocence away from the young of this world, and I am not only talking about child molesters.
I wish to include in this category of stealer’s of innocence those people who try to introduce them to things that they are way too young to comprehend. Do they really need to be exposed to their sexuality at such a young age? Who should decide what and when they should learn these things, their parents or the establishment? I say let them enjoy their sweet innocence while they may as it will be taken away from them all too soon.

Eyes are tough to light, obviously too close for flash. You could try using a reflector next time (white poster board or even reflective car shades) to bounce a little more light into the eye…would give it even more life.
Good call on this day and age of evil trying to rob children of their innocence. I can only imagine how quickly my hairs will turn gray once my daughters get older!

yeah, that sounds right
BUT, on the other hand the way it’s kinda muted here is ok too on 2nd thought, any more light and your reflection of the hand & camera might take away from the fell that is going on right now. I.E., it might be too distracting.
