Reflections Of Sydney
When framing or composing your photo it is sometimes a good idea to look deeper into your subject. One of the things that you notice a lot of in Sydney is it’s tall buildings and a lot of people try to take a photo with some sort of skyline in the background. With this shot I zoomed in and focused on a portion of the windows of the building as I thought this would make a good photo.

I’m pretty pleased with the result as it gives it a look of a painting that some modern artist painted.
The FlexSqueeze Theme gives my blog that professional look. I loved it so much that I bought the developers license. It's the easiest most customizable theme I've come across. See how easy it is to change your theme's appearance! Compare it to Thesis to see how much better it is! I am so thrilled with this theme that I highly recommend you to get your FlexSqueeze theme today! Like this post? Show your appreciation by buying me a coffee.

Wow Sire, what a neat picture! See, I wouldn’t have that kind of artistic eye; that’s why I write. lol

Thanks Mitch, but I reckon if you gave it a try you’d manage to take some good shots.

Trust me, Sire, I’ve never, NEVER, taken a good picture. I just don’t have the eye, I guess.

Sounds like a good post Mitch. My failings as a photographer, and then you can post some pictures as examples.
No, I think I post enough about my failings without having to own up to another one on my blog. :-)
That is a neat perspective. It almost look like each of those cubes are water reflections of the other buildings. Each one has its own waves and such. Very nice!

Sire: As a former resident of OZ, I always am drawn to Aussie related posts. I never lived in Sydney. Adelaide was my residence. But I visited often and found the city fascinating. Can you disclosed the venue for your photo subject? I’d like to google earth it.

I can’t actually tell you the name of the building, only that it was probably on Elizabeth Street.
Speaking of Adelaide, you may be interested in Scenic Adelaide, another of my blogs.
May I ask where you are living at the moment?
I will look at your Adelaide site. I loved living there. We were up near Blackwood. Glen Alta was the area. I used to run in the National Park there.
We now live in Fort Myers, FL, just across the river from Sanibel Island.

Wow, that must be quite a change in climate. Florida must be a bit like Queensland humidity wise? Still I’ve heard it is really lovely especially Orlando. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

I can’t believe I haven’t seen this one yet. Good work on the shot Sire. Dugged this for you. Hope you don’t mind.
Why would I mind, a good Digg every now and again certainly won’t go astray.
Love this! I’ve been taking a lot of photos of reflections in buildings and water this summer, it has resulted in a lot of photos I really like :)

Thanks Jennifer. Why not post an url to those photos so that we can all admire them?
This is a great shot. It is a nice change of pace from the more typical straight on shots. I love the reflection. It kind of feels a bit like a painting.

Glad you liked it. I saw the potential as soon as I saw all those glass lined buildings.
