I am an Aussie bloke who loves to blog and take photos and I have finally decided to put the two together. Unlike some photo blogs that just paste the photos I plan to write a bit of commentary about each image. After all, what is a blog without some decent content.

Unless stated otherwise I have used my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX50 Digital Camera. It allows 28mm wide angle shooting and has 7.2 mega-pixels. Unless I am taking closeups I use the ‘normal’ settings. I have used ‘scene mode’ for night shots and fireworks etc.
