			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve always found that animals make great subjects for a good photo, especially when they stand fairly still for you. I took these shots whilst waling down the <a class="zem_slink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/River_Torrens" title="River Torrens" rel="wikipedia">River Torrens</a> as it flowed quietly passed <a class="zem_slink" href="http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=-34.929,138.601&amp;spn=0.01,0.01&amp;q=-34.929,138.601%20%28Adelaide%29&amp;t=h" title="Adelaide" rel="geolocation">Adelaide</a>.</p>
<p>There were quite a few ducks around as well but for this post I want to show you a couple of photos that I took of some swans and their ducklings. Speaking of ducklings I don&#8217;t know how the <strong><a class="zem_slink" href="http://www.cbs.com/classics/macgyver/" title="Macgyver" rel="hulu">Ugly Duckling</a></strong> story ever came about because I found them quite cute.</p>
<p>This first shot is where they&#8217;re strolling calmly along the grassy virtues of the river bank. I must admit that the adult swan is really quite graceful, while the duckling while not as beautiful is certainly not what you would call ugly. Still makes for a good story I suppose.</p>

<p>This next one is of a pair swimming in the River Torrens. I rather like this one better than the previous one. Reckon the water provides a nice background.</p>
