]]> I’ve always found that animals make great subjects for a good photo, especially when they stand fairly still for you. I took these shots whilst waling down the River Torrens as it flowed quietly passed Adelaide.

There were quite a few ducks around as well but for this post I want to show you a couple of photos that I took of some swans and their ducklings. Speaking of ducklings I don’t know how the Ugly Duckling story ever came about because I found them quite cute.

This first shot is where they’re strolling calmly along the grassy virtues of the river bank. I must admit that the adult swan is really quite graceful, while the duckling while not as beautiful is certainly not what you would call ugly. Still makes for a good story I suppose.

Black Swan

This next one is of a pair swimming in the River Torrens. I rather like this one better than the previous one. Reckon the water provides a nice background.
